Har Chhatravratti - A Centralized Scholarship Portal
Har Chhatravratti is an Android application developed by the Department of Higher Education. It is a centralized portal that provides a one-stop solution for the end-to-end scholarship process, right from the submission of the application to the verification and disbursal to the end beneficiary. This portal has been developed to make beneficiary-oriented schemes easily accessible, seamless, and transparent. It brings together 13 scholarship schemes of 6 major departments of the government under a single platform.
The portal offers three-tier verification of the application, with verification from the institute, university/nodal body, and head office. This ensures complete authentication of the applicant. The portal is also integrated with the state flagship program, Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) scheme of Haryana Government. To avail of the benefits of scholarship schemes of the state government, it is mandatory for each applicant to have a PPP. The portal also includes students of Haryana domicile who are studying outside Haryana and such applications would directly be verified by the concerned department.
